Position 1 : Chef
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum
Location: North Parkes Restaurant, Parkes NSW 2870
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute diverse menus for regular service and special functions.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Lead and supervise kitchen brigade to maintain high standards in food quality.
- Develop seasonal menu offerings based on customer preferences and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and control food costs, stock levels, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP), hygiene protocols, and workplace health regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager to maintain smooth kitchen-to-service operations.
- Review kitchen equipment needs and assist in procurement planning.
Required Skills:

Position 2 : Cook
Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of menu items including entrees, mains, and sides according to established recipes.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices throughout the cooking process.
- Assist with food preparation during busy service periods.
- Ensure kitchen stations are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Handle food storage and labeling as per safety guidelines.
- Assist in preparing meals for dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, or allergen-specific requests.
- Communicate with the Chef and kitchen team for service coordination.
- Perform routine checks on kitchen equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including front and back-of-house coordination.
- Oversee staff rosters, hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve complaints, and implement service improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team on food service logistics and menu updates.
- Handle daily cash operations, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Develop marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and revenue.
